Dr. Palakurthi is double-board certified in both Child/Adolescent and General Psychiatry. She has focused her past 8 years of clinical work in community mental health settings in urban and suburban areas. She offers services for a diverse range of clients with various degrees of severity. Although her primary focus is Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, she will be happy to provide services for all age groups. Dr. Palakurthi provides individualized treatment plans to include family, cultural, psychological, and environmental factors that are unique to each individual.

SATURDAY APPOINTMENTS are available for the convenience of working parents and school age children.

Treatment of Chemical dependencies

Custody evaluations

Prescriptions for medications like Xanax and Benzodiazipines (eg: Valium, Diazepam, Lorazepam) due to long term side effects

FEE SCHEDULE AND POLICIES

Initial assessment (60 min): $250

50 min session (45 min): $200

Medication management (30 min): $120

Payment is due at the time of scheduling appointments. 24 hour cancellation notice is required to avoid the full fee charge for missed or cancelled appointments.

Dr. Palakurthi accepts Blue Cross (BCBS). She is Out-of-Network with all other insurance carriers at Carolina Performance. Patients are expected to self pay at the time of the appointment and contact their Insurance provider for out of network benefits.
