I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Licensed Clinical Addictions Specialist in North Carolina. I provide individual therapy to ages 12-59, focusing on young adults, adolescents, young parents, and adults. I have over 7 years of experience in outpatient therapy, medical settings, and community mental health. Through these experiences, I have worked with many populations from various walks of life. Everyone’s journey is unique. What works for one person might not necessarily work for you. I can help you begin the process to improve your emotional health no matter where you are in life.

My approach to therapy is client-centered and strengths-based, which I borrow from many different perspectives with the goal of understanding your individual needs. I utilize a variety of approaches to meet your needs such as Attachment-Based, Emotionally Focused, Motivational Interviewing, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Relaxation Training, among others. I am also a circle of security parenting facilitator.  My focus is on you, building a safe and trusting relationship. I'm here to help you put yourself first and work through the challenges of everyday life.

FEES AND POLICIES

Payment is due at the time of the scheduled appointment. A 24-hour cancelation notice is required to avoid a full fee charge for missed or canceled appointments.

I am “out-of-network” for all insurance plans. Being an “out-of-network” provider means that my clients pay me a fee, and I supply them with a bill which may be presented by the client to their insurance company for application for reimbursement to the client directly. Every plan has different out-of-network benefits, and it is the responsibility of my clients to contact their insurance provider for more information on out-of-network deductibles, eligible expenses and conditions, reimbursement rates and co-insurance
