| Dr.
Feldman is a board-certified psychiatrist who has completed training in both General
and Child/Adolescent Psychiatry. His treatment approach focuses on the mental
and physical health of the individual patient as well as healthy functioning of
the family system. His goal is to help his patients reach their fullest potential
in all areas of their lives. Dr.
Feldman has clinical experience working in a variety of treatment settings, including
inpatient and outpatient settings at UNC Hospitals and Dorothea Dix Hospital.
He also has worked in the Chapel Hill TEACCH Center and the Murdoch Center with
children and adolescents with developmental disabilities including autism spectrum
disorders. Prior
to attending medical school, Dr. Feldman was a Division I All-ACC wrestler at
the University of Virginia. He is familiar with the lifestyle of the competitive
student-athlete and the unique stresses that it brings. He welcomes the opportunity
to work with athletes of all age groups and skill levels in helping them to reach
