Dr. Elizabeth Stanton is a Board Certified Adult, Child/Adolescent, and Addiction Psychiatrist at Carolina Performance in Raleigh. Dr. Stanton has extensive experience in treating psychiatric/behavioral disorders and substance use disorders in all ages, especially Opiate Use Disorders using Suboxone and Methadone (in Opiate Treatment Centers).

Dr. Elizabeth Stanton is an Adult, Child/Adolescent, and Addiction Psychiatrist. She is Board Certified in all three specialties. She trained at Duke University Medical Center, John Umstead Hospital, and the University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson. Dr. Stanton has extensive experience in treating psychiatric/behavioral disorders and substance use disorders in all ages, especially Opiate Use Disorders using Suboxone and Methadone (in Opiate Treatment Centers). Dr. Stanton has held leadership roles in many behavioral health organizations on a national, state, and local level.
Dr. Stanton has learned a great deal in her career, but her greatest teachers have been those whom she has been privileged to care for. She listens carefully to her patients and partners with them in developing a plan of intervention, including medication management, coaching, individualized psychotherapies focused on desired changes, alternative therapies, diet, exercise, and psychometric testing.
Dr. Stanton's practice is limited to patients 18 and over. Her particular interests include Adult ADD, Opiate Use Disorder, Substance Use Disorders, Behavioral Addictions, Depression/Anxiety Issues, and Life Cycle Transitions.
